New Title – 100 Things To See On Australia’s Coral Coast

Upcoming travel guide dives deep into Australia’s Coral Coast and Karijini

Western Australia’s stunning Coral Coast spans 1,100km. From the Pinnacles in the south, right up to Exmouth and Karijini in the north, it’s a diverse region with no end of things to see and do. Swim with whale sharks in the UNESCO Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area. Drive through fields of colour in wildflower country. Find your way to the icy-cold plunge pools, cascading waterfalls and ancient rocky gorges of Karijini National Park. Or marvel over the impossibly pink salt lake that is Hutt Lagoon. Whether you’re getting lost in the natural wonders of the Coral Coast by day or sitting around a beach bonfire at night, each day offers unique and enriching experiences that will stay with you for a lifetime.

The Coral Coast is big and wild, and the best bits are still local secrets. 100 Things To See On Australia’s Coral Coast + Karijini and the Pilbara taps into locals’ knowledge and showcases the must-see places to visit during your time here, according to people who live here. Some of them are well-known, but others are the sort of places travellers, not tourists, seek out.

Supplementing the best 100 things to see on Australia’s Coral Coast, the guide also showcases the best local cafes, shops, campsites, accommodation options and cultural experiences. It’ll be A5 in size and over 220 pages long; perfect for the glove box or inside your backpack as you explore. Expect unique local advice, including tips on free-diving and how to explore the corals and reefs on a single breath of air for longer; the best places to walk straight off the beach for world-class snorkelling with turtles and manta rays; and tips on where and when’s best to find wildflowers.

100 Things to See On Australia’s Coral Coast + Karijini builds on our library of 100 Things To See guides. Other titles include 100 Things To See In Tropical North Queensland and 100 Things To See In The Kimberley, written by local experts in their regions. 100 Things To See guidebooks are the essential ingredient to your time exploring regional Australia, and they make an excellent gift for a loved one who loves exploring areas more slowly and deeply. 100 Things To See On Australia’s Coral Coast is expected to go on sale in Australia in September 2021.

  1. We travelled around oz in our caravan 2x years ago, from Vic to NT to WA to SA and back home ! A 16,000 km round trip , I bought these books as a duo only this year, and flicking through the coloured pages with many details gets me excited to get on the road again and explore quiet a few things we missed, this time I’ll fe taking my guides with me !
